Starting with October 1st 2024, Erste Group offers the next Group Graduate Programme. In 18 months we give a number of bright and highly skilled university graduates the opportunity to discover the world of our banking group. One trainee will be based in the department "Corporate Finance" which offers loan solutions and advisory services to clients beyond standard banking products: leveraged loans (sponsored & non-sponsored), project finance (PPP & conventional), and product-neutral advice on financial structures ("Strategic Dialogue"). Your Tasks

  • Cash flow modelling (Excel)
  • Peer group & valuation analysis
  • Financial/Credit and business analysis
  • Project analysis, identification and evaluation of risks
  • Preparation of pitch documents and support new business origination
  • Execution support for Senior Lead Transactor (Due Diligence, credit analysis, approval process, drafting Term Sheets/credit docs etc.)
  • Post-closing monitoring of loans
  • Liaise with clients and professional advisors and local Erste product teams

Your Background

  • A university degree (min. Bachelor, preferably Master degree) in business administration, economics, law or related studies
  • Study focus on finance and capital markets
  • First working experience in the financial industry, ideally in investment banks in a junior position or an internship - preferably 1-2 years (max.)
  • Good quantitative and financial modelling skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards & issues
  • Fluency in German and English
