Role Overview

As a Security Product Manager for SASE, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our SASE security product offerings in multiple markets within DACH and SEE. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver cutting-edge security solutions that protect our clients' networks, data, and applications. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of cybersecurity, utilizing your expertise to deliver innovative products that address the evolving threat landscape.

Your tasks:

  • Product Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to define the product strategy for our SASE security offerings.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and manage the product roadmap, outlining key features, enhancements, and innovations aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Requirements Definition: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to define clear and comprehensive product requirements, considering both technical feasibility and user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and ongoing support.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and potential areas for product differentiation.
  • Product Launch: Lead successful product launches, including defining and support of go-to-market strategies in DACH (with a focus on Germany) and SEE.
  • Customer Insights: Engage with customers and gather feedback to continuously refine and enhance product offerings, ensuring they effectively address customer pain points.
  • Industry Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the SASE security space through participation in industry events, webinars, and publications.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (3 years) in product management, particularly within the cybersecurity or networking domain.
  • Deep understanding of SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) concepts, principles, and technologies.
  • Extensive experience with SDN, LAN, and WAN technologies.
  • Strong technical acumen, capable of grasping complex technical concepts and translating them into clear product requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, prioritize features, and deliver products on schedule.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) is a plus.

Our performance-based-salary models reward extraordinary commitment and success. The minimum annual gross salary according to the collective agreement of Telekom Austria AG is EUR 44.464,00. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
