Account Manager - Customer Accounts USA / Taiwan / Korea / Japan (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • You work with our electron multi-beam technology together with our customers who are the most advanced companies in the semiconductor industry.
  • You are responsible for a technical account and work close with the customer to align on priorities, strategic technical projects, and escalated issues regarding our mask writer.
  • You are using your technical knowledge to understand the customers requirements, coordinate solution finding and further product development within IMS.
  • You are responsible to organize and hold management meetings and technical negotiations with the customer and IMS key members.
  • You are responsible for quality initiatives and improvement projects to fulfill the customers requirements.
  • You visit our customers regularly on-site on business trips (USA/Asia) to exchange information, align on requirements, and work with the IMS team on-site.

Your qualifications:

  • You have completed a technical or scientific education (e.g. physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering) and are interested in continuous further development.
  • You hold at least a masters degree in one of the relevant fields and have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of semiconductor equipment
  • You hold at least a PhD degree in one of the relevant fields and have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field of semiconductor equipment
  • You have a solid understanding in semiconductor manufacturing, e-beam lithography, mask making, optics, vacuum physics, high voltage applications.
  • You are convincing with your professional and confident approach towards our customers.
  • You are experienced in preparing and holding C-level meetings in English on technically complex topics.
  • You like to face challenges and make full use of your analytical skills, your technical knowledge and your interpersonal skills.
  • You are tech-savvy, organized, curious, assertive and a likeable team member.
  • You are resilient, can deal with stress and quick decisions and are willing to work flexibly.
  • Willingness to travel to other countries (USA/Asia) for tasks at the customer site up to 25% (typically 2 to 4 weeks in a row).
  • You are committing to support and mentor the team in challenging situations and contribute to our company.
