Senior Manager Technology and R&D Paper & Board

We are looking for a Senior Manager Technology and R&D to join our Paper, Fiber and Recycling Divison in Graz, Vienna or St. Pölten, Austria.

ANDRITZ is an international technology group providing plants, systems, equipment, and services for various industries. The company is one of the technology and global market leaders in the hydropower business, the pulp and paper industry, the metal working and steel industries, and in solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial segments. Other important fields of business are animal feed and biomass pelleting.

Your Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the process technology in customer projects, starting from the sales phase until the final acceptance of the delivery (including: presentations to the customer, conceptualization, machine and section dimensioning, definition of performance guarantees, process optimization, test runs etc.)
• Central point of contact for all technological matters
• Support for machine start-ups
• Conducting customer trainings
• Machine audits
• Development of a know-how platform for key paper and board grades

Your Profile

• University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or paper technology
• Five years of professional experience in the pulp and paper industry, preferably at a paper machine supplier
• Extensive knowledge in the area of containerboard and carton board process technology
• Proactive, analytical and results-driven working style
• High team-working ability
• Excellent English and general communication skills
• High willingness to travel

Our Offer

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce for this position at least a gross monthly salary of
EUR 3.439,42.

Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
