About the Role
Preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Austrian GAAP (UGB), including support for IFRS reporting requirements.
Management of general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, as well as preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Supervision of day-to-day accounting activities and hands-on support where required, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank accounting and fixed asset accounting in SAP.
Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Act as a key contact for external auditors and support statutory audit processes through the preparation of documentation and timely resolution of audit queries.
Support tax compliance and statutory reporting activities, including VAT reporting, Intrastat declarations and other regulatory filings.
Collaborate closely with Controlling, Group Reporting and other Group companies, and serve as a trusted contact for external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors and authorities.
Your Profile
Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) qualification or equivalent accounting certification.
Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally gained within an international business environment.
Strong knowledge of Austrian GAAP (UGB) combined with a solid understanding of IFRS principles and their practical application. Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes, as well as supporting internal and external audits.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered an advantage, complemented by advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong affinity for systems and process improvement.
High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality financial information.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and international teams. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic business environment, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple deadlines, and perform well under pressure.

Salary
All In salary starting at € 4.500,- per month on a full-time basis, depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer a market-oriented overpayment
