(f / m / d) – full-time – location: A-1090 Vienna
YOUR ROLE:
Research and develop algorithms and tools to protect the intellectual property
Collaborate with researchers and scientists to improve security measures
Conceptualize requirements and research possibilities for future security improvements
Work within a cross-functional team including software and QA engineers
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science) or demonstrable equivalent work experience in a security-related role
Knowledge of security mechanisms of operating systems, like Windows, MacOS, iOS, Linux and Android
Knowledge of platform-independent software development with C and C++
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Ability to handle sensitive data and information with a high level of confidentiality
You value teamwork and a positive team culture
BONUS-SKILLS:
Interest in compiler design, program analysis and low-level system behavior
Understanding how antivirus software works
Experience with Ghidra, IDA or other SRE frameworks
Good command of German, both written and spoken

Salary
The position offers a gross monthly salary above the collective agreement, starting from €3,500 for junior profiles and from €5,000 for senior profiles, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
