Megion Research & Development is a European start-up working on the development of a social media hardware and software platform called Mycelium MEDIA. The aim of this platform is to enable the development of a range of application specific wireless ad-hoc networks with optional connection to the Internet, elaborating the Internet-of-Things concept and involving pervasive computing.
