Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

Would you like to work in the semiconductor industry and be part of the high-tech company with headquarters in Austria and international subsidiaries? As part of the software integration and support team you are responsible for deployments of new multi beam mask writers as well as for software integration and FAT (factory acceptance tests). You are continuously supporting automation and optimization of those tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deployment and integration of our multi beam mask writer software at IMS
• Perform and document FAT (factory acceptance test)
• 2nd level support for our multi beam mask writers at IMS: Report your analysis using ticket tracking systems (jira)
• With deployments, integration and troubleshooting gain deeper knowledge about our multi beam mask writer hardware and software architecture
• Perform regular software and configuration upgrades on the IMS Tools and Testbenches
• Ongoing improvement and optimization of the team tasks
• Technical documentation
• Project ownership and stand-alone work on projects
• OnCall duty

Your Qualification:

• Either technical degree or at least 3 years of relevant technical experience
• Experience and very good knowledge in Linux based operating systems: Understanding of system architectures
• Fundamentals of networking
• Analytical thinking and ability to face challenges
• Able to work in stress situations, resilient
• Team player and very good communication skills
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
• Git experience is of advantage
• Basic Python or other programming languages and data base skills would be beneficial
• Very good spoken and written English
• Willingness to work in a clean room
