Make it happen

YOU…

• own and run packaging design for secondary & tertiary packaging activities (incl. labelling) in global cross functional teams to launch new products and redesign on market products
• lead secondary & tertiary packaging design projects for technology platforms and manage collaboration with involved functions to ensure successful outcome
• support definition of secondary & tertiary packaging technology, labelling strategy and roadmap
• are responsible for design and deployment of standards in materials, formats, and processes
• ensure state-of-the-art technical design solutions (incl. feasibility studies, visualizations, and prototypes) for commercial, secondary & tertiary packaging and labelling by target-oriented management of internal & external resources (agencies, packaging & machine suppliers).
• support development activities including to technology landscaping and change control
• establish standard operating & work procedures, templates and general guidance for secondary packaging technology development
• disseminate knowledge & awareness of packaging technology within wider organization and contribute to publications, presentations, and patents
• support internal & external audits on secondary and tertiary packaging related matters
• drive preparation of the function related documents (sections) for registration of medical device/combination products and provide input to health authority questions.

Be our forward thinker

YOU…

• hold a Bachelor's, Master or PhD degree in engineering or material science or equivalent
• have minimum 3 years of experience working in the field of primary or secondary packaging / medical device and combination product - preferred in pharmaceutical area or similar
• have strong communication skills & listener, actively reaching out, able to understand and connect across functions
• inspire others to solve technical issues / problems
• ideally have experience in scientific, technical publications and to present topics / knowledge gained at external / internal conferences
• are fluent in English, verbal and written
• are ideally able to communicate in German as well

Salary starting at EUR 4,200 gross per month based on 38.5 h/week with the express willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
