Our client is a respected organisation from the retail industry who is currently seeking an adept Logistics Tender Manager for Fresh Produce to enhance the current team based in Austria.

Job Description

• Procurement of fresh produce across the entire logistics spectrum.
• Developing a tender strategy for warehouse and transport services.
• Contributing to the design of operations for a prospective produce hub.
• Discovering opportunities for cost reduction in transportation (both inbound and outbound) and warehouse management.
• Conducting thorough analysis of market trends and executing tenders accordingly.
• Negotiating delivery contracts with suppliers to ensure favourable terms.
• Working closely with various international departments and country organisations within the group, along with suppliers and logistics service providers.
• Continuous optimisation of logistics processes.
• Guiding and orchestrating a diverse international team.
• Upholding high standards of supply chain quality and integrity.

The Successful Applicant

• Successfully obtained a university degree, preferably with a specialisation in logistics or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical acumen.
• Demonstrated leadership experience spanning several years.
• Prior experience in logistics or procurement within the fresh produce industry preferred.
• Dependable, organised, and goal-driven work ethic.
