Are you a Production Manager who loves mountain biking? Then this is for you!

Our Production Management team manages our productions from start to finish, in terms of budget, schedules, staffing, logistics, effective workflows and processes. The goal is to always have "a good story well told", with high production value and economically feasible. Join the team as Production Manager and tell stories that are beyond the ordinary! In this role, you'll oversee all phases of a production for the Bike Network, from initial planning, budgeting, scheduling and contract negotiations to stakeholder management. You'll ensure that all productions are executed and delivered smoothly, efficiently, safely, on time and within budget. Experience in working with federations and sound knowledge, especially in live broadcasting but also in non-live production, is an important requirement to have fun in this role.


Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:


Being on-site, you'll make sure production processes run efficiently, manage productions and implement new standards and guidelines. You'll assess best practices and improve all aspects of production management if needed. Establishing clear lines of communication between content and the supporting departments such as legal, finance and procurement, and supporting the Head of Production in projects is part of this role as well.


You'll work hand in hand with other departments involved in the production processes and ensure a smooth collaboration and increase efficiency across all along. You'll be responsible to develop a strong network of established companies and other talent like new production partners, creative and vendors.


You'll handle the financial documentation using global templates and the collation of all internal and external financial. You will report to the Production Executive and Finance team monthly and set up filing and support systems based on the global structure.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Thorough understanding of the production, editorial and technical processes involved in creating a range of programmes across various genres with a focus on mountain biking
  • A track record in commissioning with at least 6 years of meaningful professional experience in live broadcasting
  • Up to date knowledge of relevant broadcasting and union regulations, relevant legislation, regulations, and associated procedures, including copyright, data protection and public liability
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail and methodical approach to work
  • University Degree or relevant work experience
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), any other language is an advantage
  • Travel up to 25%

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
