Business Development and Key Account Manager Nonwovens

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

  • Taking care of global working key accounts:
  • Manage client relationships on brand and retail level
  • Act as #1 Lenzing contact person for accounts; connect brands and retailers with Lenzing value chain partners to put together cross-regional programs
  • Leading the promotion of VEOCEL(tm) co-branding and specialty fibers at brand & retail in line with sCore TEN strategy
  • Identifying and capitalizing new business opportunities with preferred brands & retailers
  • Creating marketing and communication concepts at brands and retailers (storytelling, co-branding, POS promotions)
  • Leading implementation of account's sales & marketing activities and planning
  • Providing input to other commercial teams to support strategy development and execution

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • Master Degree in General Business, Sales Management, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management or similar
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales or account management in FMCG industry, ideally background in the nonwovens industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation skills and networking skills
  • Knowledge and ability in defining and implementing marketing initiatives and programs
  • Empathetic person with hands-on mentality, good listener, team player
  • Creative thinker who is able to translate customer needs and pain points into actionable tasks and value adding solutions, as well as market trends and customer requests into innovative solutions
  • Advanced IT skills (MS Office, MS Outlook, CRM)
  • Language proficiency (written and spoken) in Business English (B2), additional languages are a plus
  • This includes account-related travel of approx. of 50-70% per month; around 12-15 days/month

The gross salary for this position is according to industry practice & site location, with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. Moreover, you take part in the Lenzing bonus system.

We offer the possibility to work in either one of our existing sites in Europe (located in UK, Austria or Czech Republic) with the option of home office or working 100% remote from a to be agreed upon European country.
