Our Global Consumer Products department is looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the relationship with our strategic suppliers.

You'll apply a strategic approach to continuously improve the procurement processes to achieve a state-of-the-art procurement maturity level. You'll drive the procurement initiative and communicate to all stakeholders the added value and results that procurement brings to the organization.

STRATEGIC SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP

  • Monitor and analyse (market) trends in apparel and merchandising industry and identify areas for potential improvements and savings.

  • Implementation of supplier relationship management procedures and other supplier and outsourcing guidelines, obligations and service level agreements across all business units (incl. sustainability aspects).

  • Identify, interview and qualify potential new strategic suppliers in order to secure more cost-effective and high-quality sources of products and services.

PROCUREMENT PLANNING & REPORTING

  • Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of contracts in close collaboration with business partners and stakeholders.

  • Ensure a systematic procurement planning approach to ensure smooth and realistic demand planning

  • Monitor supplier performance (KPI & Dashboards) to ensure quality of service

COMPLIANCE & COMMUNICATION

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and guidelines and continuously improve procurement processes.

  • Apply knowledge of managing supplier audits, supply risks, internal compliance and regulatory requirements to identify and deploy appropriate strategies that aim to establish a secure and sustainable supply chain.

  • Establish and maintain regular communications with the relevant stakeholders regarding pertinent procurement activities.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in procurement
  • Understanding of state-of-the-art procurement processes with profound negotiation skills and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to drive the delivery of financial and operational performance objectives against agreed targets
  • Understanding of apparel and/or merchandising industry is beneficial
  • Strong leadership and communications skills (verbal and written) in English and German
  • Experienced in working within a fast-paced environment, within a global organization
  • Strong working knowledge of contracts
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills and comprehensive Understanding of ERP systems (ideally SAP) desirable
  • Degree in Business Administration (Procurement specialisation preferable) or proven long term experience on the job
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Reisetätigkeit bis zu: 10%

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.784,00 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
