Job Introduction

As Strategic Product Manager, you will be responsible for the further development of our software-based, centralised system architecture as well as our innovative licensing and service models. You will actively shape our growth strategy and lay the foundation for scalable market penetration.

Key Tasks

  • Business Model Execution: Driving the implementation of the business model for the new software based Voice Communication System (VCS)
  • Market & Product Development: Defining the product-market strategy based on in-depth competitive and market analysis within the Air Traffic Management (ATM) sector
  • Enablement: Empowering Sales and Customer Service teams with the expertise required to effectively market and support our IT-based Voice Communication System (VCS)
  • Strategic Go-to-Market: Developing innovative marketing and commercialization concepts for our software and license portfolio, positioning our services as an integral component of a holistic system solution
  • Product Business Case Ownership: Assuming full responsibility for the product business case, ensuring long-term profitability, and steering the economic viability of the product portfolio
  • Stakeholder Management: Engaging in close, collaborative partnership with the Operational Product Manager (OPM) to effectively harmonize development efforts with market requirements, while serving as a trusted interface for the Management and Board

Key Qualifications

  • Academic Degree in Engineering or Business Administration with at least 10 years of experience in product management within complex IT environments
  • In-depth expertise in launching software and service business models (SaaS, licensing, and maintenance models)
  • Proven track record in B2B/B2G sectors with a strong focus on centralised, IT-based system architectures
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on mentality, essential for successfully navigating the startup phase of new initiatives
  • Confident navigation of complex matrix organizations, coupled with the integrative communication skills necessary to align stakeholders at all levels toward common goals
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) is part of your professional routine, enabling you to engage directly with our international customers and global sites

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 70,000 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
