Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Engineering Change Process Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product data across various products. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production Planning, you will ensure that all data remains accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Manage and continuously improve the company-wide Engineering Change Process, driven by defined KPIs
- Prepare and coordinate Engineering Change Management Board meetings, including documentation and stakeholder alignment
- Ensure robust configuration management, including accurate revision control and documentation within PLM and ERP systems
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), from initiation through review, approval, and implementation
- Serve as a central interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality departments
- Maintain and ensure high-quality engineering data within ERP systems (R&D/Engineering scope)
- Establish, optimize, and manage interfaces between ERP and R&D data sources (PDM/PLM)
- Oversee article lifecycle management, ensuring status and attributes accurately reflect current development stages and planned usage
- Manage BOM structures, including creation of Engineering BOMs, Provision BOMs, and release processes for Multi-Beam Mask Writers and related products
- Update and adapt BOMs as part of the Engineering Change Process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in Engineering Change Management, configuration management, or a similar role in a manufacturing or high-tech environment
- Strong understanding of BOM structures, product data management, and lifecycle processes
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and PLM/PDM tools
- Solid knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, ideally in complex product environments
- Experience managing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) across their full lifecycle
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work KPI-driven and continuously improve processes
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially in data accuracy and documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured and proactive manner
- Fluent in English; German is a plus

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 55.000 EUR (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
