So that we can continue to reliably advise and support all ÖBB companies in the areas of human resources, IT, finance and accounting. We are around 1.800 facilitators from ÖBB-Business Competence Center GmbH.

As a member of the ServiceNow product team, you are responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your role is also to administrate the platform activities and translate business requirements into the platform cloud architecture.

Your tasks

  • Manage and administer the ServiceNow platform, including user access, version control and data management.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and business rules.
  • Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the overall stability of the platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow instances.
  • Collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders such as external implementation partners and internal system capability teams to implement ServiceNow applications.
  • Provide on-going technical assistance and solutions to resolve customer requirements based on system capability, process gaps and cultural challenges.

Your profile

  • Degree in computer science, informatics or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration, and development.
  • Solid scripting skills in JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CMDB, Incident Management and Asset Management.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • ServiceNow certification(s) (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) is a plus.
  • Desire to learn and increase proficiency in ServiceNow platform and applications.
  • Experience with working in agile teams.
  • Fluent English and good German skills.

  • A minimum salary of EUR 53,592 gross per year is provided for the position of "Expert IT-Development" (according to the collective agreement in the field of automatic data processing and information technology). Depending on qualifications and professional experience, the position of "Expert IT-Development" offers a salary starting from EUR 70,000 gross/year for 38.5 hours per week and above, in accordance with the collective agreement.
