CEU is looking for a Senior Student Recruitment Manager responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to attract a diverse and qualified student body at CEU. This position involves overseeing the entire student recruitment process, managing a team, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve institutional enrollment goals. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of strategic leadership in higher education enrollment, a deep understanding of recruitment trends and methodologies, exceptional team management skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive working environment, ultimately driving the university's growth.

The Senior Student Recruitment Manager will work alongside colleagues within the wider External Relations Office, including the offices of Digital Communication and Marketing, Strategic Outreach, and Partnerships, Philanthropy and Alumni Relations. The role actively collaborates with various CEU departments and teams to align student recruitment strategies with institutional goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of a strategic vision for student recruitment aligned with the institution's overall goals
  • Develop and execute comprehensive student recruitment plans to increase the number of students enrolling at CEU, including goals, timelines, and key performance indicators
  • Analyze market trends and demographic data to inform enrollment strategies
  • Supervise and mentor a team of recruitment professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture (able to step in and perform their tasks, when necessary, e.g. travelling or sick)
  • Coordinate student recruitment efforts across various departments and academic programs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling materials and campaigns to attract students to CEU
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner and other educational institutions to increase student enrollment
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to highlight academic programs and unique offerings of CEU for its student community
  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare regular reports on student application and enrollment trends and projections

Skills and experience:

  • Master's degree in marketing, communication or a related field
  • Significant experience in student recruitment or admissions at university level
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and developing strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with current trends and best practices in higher education recruitment
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to address recruitment challenges
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Adaptable and open to embracing new technologies and methodologies
  • A sales-driven attitude
  • Hands-on when necessary and happy to be in the spotlight

We offer a competitive salary starting from a gross of 60,000 EUR/year. A higher salary is possible if warranted by the candidate's working experience.
