Head of Production and R&D (f/m/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Production and R&D. In this challenging position, you will have the overall responsibility for both areas to improve the efficiency of the Production and R&D department.

What you can expect from us

• Ramp-up of production sites for serial production of silicon carbide (SiC) crystals in Europe
• Responsibility for the planning (and execution) of the production ramp-up including facility management, logistics and maintenance
• Planning and prioritizing of R&D tasks
• Quality management for the areas of responsibility
• Compliance of Key Performance Indicators
• Set-up and implementation of SAP/MES within areas of responsibility
• Leading a highly skilled and motivated team

How you convince us

• Degree in technics with substantial economic knowledge
• Leading management function within the manufacturing industry (e.g. automotive, electronics,…)
• Any knowledge of the semiconductor industry is an advantage
• Experience in serial production, including facility management, logistics and maintenance
• Experience in high tech industries (semiconductor industry, automotive industry, photovoltaic or systems engineering)
• Experience in working with R&D teams
• Experience in managing a production based on KPIs
• Optional: Experience with national / international funding programs
