Mechanical Engineer in full time (38.5 h)

We are currently seeking a mechanical engineer to join our team and support our proposal team in Vienna:

Responsibilities and duties

• Taking an active role in the Engineering/Execution Team by performing complete technical designs.
• Actively supporting the Proposal Team with preliminary mechanical design work and budget estimation by collecting offers and preparing cost analyses related to Mechanical Engineering applications for tenders.
• Preparing engineering lists, RFQs, technical submittals, mechanical method statements, commissioning instructions, etc.
• Collecting offers from suppliers.
• Providing technical support to the Procurement Team to communicate with suppliers and maintain quality control procedures for procurement activities.
• Supervising the Mechanical Draftsman and providing feedback on project drawings.
• Supporting project management teams on-site during installation, start-up, commissioning, and operation activities.
• Conducting meetings with existing/potential suppliers and clients.

Your qualifications

• University degree / HTL in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design/execution of water/waste- water treatment plant projects (or a similar field) is a must.
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of other languages being an advantage.
• Good knowledge of computer applications (MS-Office, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Analytical and result-oriented approach.
• Effective time management, efficiency, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and eagerness to learn about other cultures.

For this position the minimum monthly gross salary starting at EUR 4120,51,-.
An overpayment is determined in accordance with your individual qualification and relevant professional experience.
