(Senior) Engineer R&D - Data Based Modelling (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Budgeting, technical planning and execution of technical and administrative development projects, leading projects and project teams on a global base and assure to reduce development risk for AT&S.
• Represent high level technical expertise in the area of data science and related coding (AI and machine learning), modelling, statistics.
• Represent high level technical expertise in the area of digitalization an digital tools in development processes.
• Representation of AT&S vis-à-vis internal and external parties in all project related aspects (customers, suppliers, partners, Business Units, funding agencies etc.).
• Proper protection of Intellectual property of AT&S.

Your Profile

• Graduate Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or similar technical education or equivalent professional career (e.g. in the area of data analysis)
• Min. 3 years of experience in/as R&D Engineer in electronics industry or comparable external experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python or other scientific programming environments.
• Experience in scientific computing, signal processing, AI, ML and/or computer vision.
• Experience of data analysis in engineering context.
• Basic Project Managerment is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• "Open minded", communicative and "cross border thinker.
• Team player who feels comfortable working in an international atmosphere.
• Willingness to travel abroad - about 15% annually.
• Strong learning agility and able to adapt easily to change.
