Customs / Global Trade Specialist (m/f/d) PART TIME (minimum 21 hours)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Your main responsibility as a Customs / Global Trade Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) is to ensure flawless and compliant material inbound and outbound flow for INNIO globally
  • This includes:
  • Interaction with our internal and external stakeholders such as Customs Authorities, Brokers, Trade Advisory Company, Customers, Suppliers, Engineers etc.
  • Import & export compliance checks, clarification and resolution of customs holds & issues
  • Trade compliance, related global trade regulation research and special program operations such as preferential procedure and other costs saving programs
  • Customs consulting projects for process improvement
  • You are the first point of contact providing product related technical support for Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification as well as product classification itself, following the World Trade Organization rules and regulations
  • Our legal obligations require you to act as our customs compliance gatekeeper, insuring WTO ruling adherence as well as data quality correctness, while our operations need your support to generate flawless customs procedures to avoid production down-times

Your Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics / engineering / related law or related education and relevant work experience in these fields
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Good analytical, communication and facilitating skills
  • Solid command of German and English
  • Proven team player
  • Experience in customs regulations or a technical background is a plus
  • Experience with software Enovia, Smarteam / Windchill, Oracle, Excel etc. is a plus
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.644,20 gross per month (x 14) and an over-payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
