Job description

As our new Program Management Director for Automotive Silicon Carbide, you will lead a team of experts to make decarbonization and green electromobility happen.

In your new role you will:

  • Take over interdisciplinary project ownership to ensure execution and commercial success of projects
  • Be in charge of managing a portfolio of multiple cross-functional projects and initiatives, which require a deep understanding of prioritization, interdependencies, and resource requirements
  • Lead international multidisciplinary teams and advice technical experts, project owners and managers on best practices and value creation
  • Be responsible for providing clarity on deliverables and transparency on project schedules, milestones, and related decision-making
  • Challenge and facilitate new products/projects as they are established and executed, as well as foster the ideation of additional products and solutions to accelerate our synergy target achievement
  • Enable business success with great automotive silicon carbide products
  • Report directly to the Vice President of the product line while ensuring strategic delivery of priorities, taking responsibility for performance and budget management

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Economics or a similar field
  • At least 7+ years of relevant work experience with broad leadership experience in a global matrix organization in the technology industry or in a business consulting role
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading projects and managing programs overseeing global teams of more than 10 individuals in a multicultural environment
  • Sound knowledge of project management and agile methods
  • Proven experience in leading business transformation and change
  • Excellent intercultural skills and the ability to facilitate as well as lead interdisciplinary and international teams
  • Profound English presentation and language skills, German skills are a strong plus

This job is suitable for full- and part-time.
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
