Chief Risk Officer (f/m/d)

Future fields of activity:

• Head of the risk management function as Chief Risk Officer for Allianz Austria with a focus on Allianz Elementar Lebensversicherung, Allianz Elementar Versicherung and responsibility for IT risk management.
• Governance function in the second line of defense, responsible for the identification, analysis and control of business risks (financial and operational risk)
• Calculation of the Solvency Capital Requirement and maintenance of an effective control system in accordance with Solvency II (complying with all regulatory requirements for the usage of an internal Risk Model)
• Regularly carrying out the company's own risk and solvency assessment and complying with the regulations on the solvency and minimum capital requirement.
• Provide analysis and develop concrete proposals for effective and efficient asset liability management with a focus on Solvency II (i.e. risk bearing capacity, risk appetite). -
• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of regulatory reporting (such as ORSA, SFCR and RSR reports).
• Integration of economic, social and governance aspects into the risk management processes.
• Working closely with the CFO and CEO to ensure the proper management of all risks, including emerging risks related to the business model and strategy.
• Working closely with all areas of Allianz Austria to embed a strong risk culture throughout the organization.
• Ongoing interaction with both the Allianz Central Europe Region risk function and the Allianz Group.

Our requirements:

• Strong leadership skills and "growth mindset" to drive change and innovation in relation to risk management within the organization.
• Completed studies in insurance or business mathematics or business studies with a focus on quantitative finance
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in risk management and actuarial science
• Very good knowledge of Solvency II requirements and understanding of financial instruments
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Advanced knowledge in the use of MS Office 365
• Very good knowledge of German and English (C1)

JOB INFORMATION:

Starting date: immediately I Hours: 38.5 hours per week I Location: ICON Towers - directly at the main train station 1100 Vienna I
Gross annual salary: EUR 130,000 (willingness to overpay depending on qualifications)
