As a core member of the HR team in the Robotics & Discrete Automation Area Austria, you will be responsible for a defined HR contribution and value-add to the business. Reporting to the Team Lead HR Business Partner, you will translate business goals into HR priorities and ensure effective implementation in partnership with the Center of Expertise (CoE) and Global Business Services (GBS).

Your responsibilities

• Supervision of a defined area in the production environment as a strategic sparring partner, coach and interface to the HR department, as well as contact person for all labor law issues
• Supporting managers and employees in all HR processes (performance reviews, succession planning, skills assessment, remuneration, employee development, etc.)
• Ensuring, maintaining and further developing a modern HR strategy including HR processes
• Contact and negotiation partner for works councils
• Designing and supporting change processes
• Ensuring and exemplifying B&R/ABB safety and integrity standards

Your background

• At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience as an HR Business Partner in a production environment (preferably in an international environment)
• Assertive, strong communicator, empathetic and open to new ideas. We also welcome new team members who can think outside the box
• Strong solution orientation and team focus
