Your responsibilities

Academic Affairs is a core administrative division that deals with the organization of academic life at ISTA, including the coordination of faculty recruitment processes. For the next recruiting season, we are looking for an intern to support our team with various administrative tasks with regard to the selection and evaluation of faculty candidates.

• Assisting with incoming faculty applications (first check of applications, supporting the collection of reference letters, etc.)
• Organizational tasks in preparation for visits of faculty candidates
• Providing administrative support to the faculty recruiting and evaluations team, such as preparing for meetings, creating presentations or lists, etc.

Your profile

• Ongoing studies (BSc or MSc) preferably in natural sciences and high interest in working in an academic institution
• Experience with/knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Very good command of written and spoken English (working language)
• Attention to detail and high level of service orientation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous work experience in an office environment is an advantage
