As a Business Architect with a focus on process management, you will need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand business and process needs. Drive the development and implementation of solutions that optimize processes and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to analyze and present data for strategic decision-making. Drive operational efficiency and enhance overall business performance through your expertise in a supporting role.

In this role you will help to develop and enforce our process management guidelines in collaboration with our Process & Data Organization including other divisions within the PALFINGER Global Organization. If you possess an affinity for processes, like to interact with experts from various fields of expertise and you love to think in a holistic way and keep an eye on the big picture while having a strong hands-on mentality, this is just the job you are looking for!

Your responsibilities

Analysis and Development of Process Architectures:

  • Actively contribute to building Enterprise Architecture, emphasizing the Business Layer.
  • Evaluate and analyze existing process architectures in SAP Signavio.
  • Identify optimization potentials and propose improvement suggestions.

Design and Modeling of Business Processes:

  • Provide active, advisory support to the Process & Data Organization in defining business processes.
  • Conduct additional quality checks on process documentation according to architecture and defined BPMN modelling methodology.

Process Optimization:

  • Support the development and implementation of measures for process optimization.
  • Participation in the strategic advancement of process management.

Coordination with Stakeholders:

  • Collaborate closely with various departments to understand business processes and ensure alignment.
  • Ensure processes align with organizational goals.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards in business processes.
  • Implement measures for continuous improvement.

Documentation:

  • Ensure maintenance and updating of process documentation.
  • Ensure availability of current process information for all relevant stakeholders.

Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate technologies and tools to support process architecture.
  • Integrate process information into other corporate applications.

Qualifications

Education and Study:

  • Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification preferred but not required.
  • Additional certifications in process management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Additional certifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience:

  • Professional experience in Enterprise Architecture is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrable experience in business process management and optimization.
  • Experience in the use of process modeling tools.
  • Experience in the application or administration of SAP Signavio is desirable but not mandatory.

Analytical Skills:

  • Essential cross-functional thinking, especially across different processes.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and methods.

Communication Skills:

  • Good communication skills for coordination with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to convey complex business process concepts in an understandable manner.

Process Management Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of process management and optimization.
  • Understanding of best practices and trends in process architecture.

Project Management:

  • Experience in project management, especially in the context of process optimization projects.

Teamwork:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness for continuous learning and adaptation to new methods in process architecture.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 50.286,18 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
