Your responsibilities

As part of the Finance division, you will be responsible for the ongoing operation and development of IT systems (with a focus on SAP) for our Finance, Human Resources and Purchasing/Logistics departments. You will work in a well-coordinated and dynamic team as the central point of contact for all SAP topics.

• Operation of SAP including first level support (SAP MM/FI/CO/HCM incl. OM andFiori), access rights and roles
• Analysis, setup and optimization of business processes within SAP and other connected IT systems (e.g., ordering tool) with customizing in coordination with external business partners
• Act as contact and coordination person in-house (e.g,, for IT) and via external business partners (e.g., for the company hosting the SAP system and companies for customizing) for SAP related support tasks
• Working in IT projects of Finance and Human Resources, especially with SAP (e.g., conversion to SAP S/4), possibly with leading of sub projects
• Support the setup, expansion and operation of the datawarehouse/business intelligence system (SAP BW/4 HANA and SAP BusinessObjects or any other system) for the institute-wide planning and reporting

Your profile

• Completed scientific or information technology studies with a focus on business informatics or information management and or
  several years of professional experience as an SAP key user, ideally in a large company, university environment or with an SAP-related service provider
• Experience in the analysis of IT systems and process optimization
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong communication skills, results orientation, structured way of working
