EHS Specialist (m/f)

(Vienna; Full-time)

YOUR MISSION:

Project Quality Management

• Developing and implementing Project Quality Plan in line with Huawei policy;
• Formulating quality Acceptance standards of project and confirming the standards with customers;
• Approving key project milestones with regards to compliance to Project Quality plans and requirements
• Following up, investigating and recording all accidents and quality problems, ensuring they are handled in compliance with local laws and ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and precautionary measures.

Subcontractors Quality Management

• Checking the quality rules of all subcontractors to ensure they are in accord with requirements of Huawei;
• Assessing quality level of subcontractors;
• Ensuring the implementation of quality measures through process control, supervision and inspection.

Quality Audits

• Organizing, coaching and coordinating the EHS and Quality improvement program and monitoring their progress and ensure the compliance to International standards including ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14000, OHSAS 18001 and local / corporate regulations;
• Communicate with customers to understand their EHS and Quality management requirements, coordinate the external auditing;
• Ensuring compliance to all documented processes, procedures, standards and specifications in preparation for audit (internal or external);
• Ensuring that policies, procedures, standards and methodologies are current and that they are followed, giving trainings about quality management to PM, Engineers and other related staff in representative offices;

YOUR PROFILE:

• University education in civil works, electrical, telco or economy direction.
• Good knowledge of MS Office is a must, advance MS Excel skills is an advantage
• Understanding of EHS and Quality principles
• Good analytical skills, problem solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Telco products, mobile communication and IT technologies preferred - not mandatory
• Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English and German - both oral and written
• Able to work under limited supervision
• Ability to adapt and learn new tools and processes
• Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and good attendance record
