We are currently looking for a Software Test Manager (m/f/d) Passenger Coaches in Vienna. Your new job will take you into the engineering of our state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly passenger coaches. In our Corporate Infrastructure group, we develop tools and simulations and provide the laboratory infrastructure for the various software trades. In addition, our software configuration managers (f/m/d), test managers (f/m/d) and testers (f/m/d) ensure efficient project processing.

Tasks

• As a test manager (f/m/d) in the department Coach Control and Diagnostics, you review test specifications and ensure that the specified software requirements are covered by the tests.
• In coordination with the software project managers (f/m/d) and testers (f/m/d) in Austria and abroad, you define how the automated/manual tests are to be carried out.
• You plan the requirements of the lab test benches and the vehicles and coordinate them with the technical managers.
• You plan all test activities in the lab environment and on the vehicle and regularly obtain the status of the test activities.
• You also perform tests yourself using test automation tools and document the results and relevant observations in test reports.

Skills

• The basis of your success is a completed bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics).
• In addition, you convince with first experience in the automation or test area.
• You have first experience with test automation, Continuous Integration and digital twins.
• Ideally, you have experience in working with test management tools and software environments, e.g. SIBAS G as well as in PLC programming.
• You are willing to do occasional business trips (approx. 10%) at home and abroad to participate in our vehicle tests.
• You have a very good command of the English language and your German language skills are on level B2 or better in order to communicate confidently.

What else do I need to know?

We offer an attractive remuneration package in line with your qualifications and professional experience. The gross annual salary according to the collective agreement for this position is at least EUR 60.218 based on 38.5 working hours per week. Depending on your education and experience, overpayment is possible. As a large corporation, Siemens also offers additional social benefits.v
