Job purpose:
We are expanding the Strategy & Business Development team to drive our ambitious growth plans in our core markets (DACH) as well as to drive our International Expansion into new Western European markets such as the UK, Benelux and Nordics. To achieve this, we are looking for a tech-savvy, strategically oriented and entrepreneurial personality that is comfortable dealing with executives and is able to identify and develop business opportunities and appreciates creative go-to-market approaches that will drive our high-quality sales pipeline.
What you do:
- Develop a strategic go-to-market plan with the "Head of Strategy & Business Development" in line with the CEO's ambitious growth plans for your focus areas
- Identify and develop strategic business opportunities in our core markets (DACH), but also drive our international expansion in new markets
- Interact solely with executives to initiate and develop business opportunities as "door opener" before handing them over to our sales team
- Conceptualize and execute creative marketing campaigns to generate interest of executives in focus industries
- Run (networking / cocktail / partner) receptions with internal and external executives as well as visit international conferences to represent A1 Digital
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to sync multi-touchpoint campaigns and client interaction
What you offer:
- Min. 5 years of experience in a Sales-oriented role (e.g. Strategy Consulting, Strategic Marketing/Sales/Business Development and/or startup/scale-up etc.) with strong IT/technology focus
- Ideally strong understanding of major business and digital technology trends related to Cloud, IoT, Machine Learning and Cyber Security
- Strategic and business (marketing / sales) focused mindset with good understanding of decision-making processes within organizations
- Experience interacting, impressing and convincing senior executives in business or technology functions
- Wide network in the digital IT services sector

The minimum annual gross salary for this position according to the current collective agreement is EUR 48.323,8. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
