Papermaking is an energy intensive process, requiring both heat and electricity. delfort's papermills rely on a variety of strategies to reduce GHG emissions that arise from both fuels consumed on-site as well as purchased electricity by developing projects and scenarios for energy reduction projects, CO2 free energy generation on-site and purchased green electricity.
delfort is owner of five paper mills in Europe and one in Asia. To fulfill our committed Science Based Targets by decarbonizing our sites at delfort, we are working in cross-functional teams within our global expert teams.
Goal of this internship or thesis is to develop and evaluate decarbonization roadmaps for all delfort paper mills in Europe and Asia with the help of an existing decarbonization tool under consideration of financial reasonable aspects.
The minimum salary for this position according to the collective bargaining agreement of the Austrian paper industry is EUR 2,356.71 gross per month (full-time basis).
