Buying Manager - Fruits & Vegetables (f/m/d)

How You"ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

• As a Produce Buying Manager, you source, develop and optimise the Produce product range on a global level
• You establish product know-how and identify optimization potential when buying one range for various country requirements 
• Working as part of the Buying team, you perform strategic negotiations to buy the highest quality products at the most competitive price 
• This requires you to develop buying strategies and co-design processes and reports
• You successfully lead, train and develop your assigned team
• You are responsible for developing and managing international supplier relationships 
• In addition, carrying out cost price and competition analyses is part of your tasks

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

• As a Buying Manager, you have completed a university degree/studies or equivalent education
• You have well-founded Produce buying experience, preferably in an international environment
• You demonstrate awareness to address needs and take over responsibility for a multinational team
• You motivate and empower your team
• You are experienced in handling the PC (especially MS Office)
• As a Buying Manager, you enjoy leading and motivating employees
• You possess business fluent English skills 
• You bring strong communication and negotiation skills and high degree of assertiveness and flexibility with you to the role
• You act responsibly, with a structured and result-oriented way of working
• You should expect moderate travel activities in this role

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from EUR 102,000*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
