Medical Advisor Oncology (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a valued co-strategist on cross-functional country teams with Marketing, Market Access, Policy and other relevant internal stakeholders
  • Building trust with the external scientific community via peer-to-peer medical and scientific information exchange with scientific leaders on the leading edge of therapeutic and patient care advances
  • Translating the Global Medical goals and strategies into research, data analysis, scientific communication, medical education, and other tactics and solutions.
  • Consolidating actionable medical insights from the country that can help inform company strategies
  • Holding primary responsibility within the country for the development and execution of the Medical Affairs Plan
  • Translate the Global Medical Goals and Strategies into research, data analysis, scientific communication, educational, and other tactics and solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance access in their country
  • Act with ethics & integrity; provide non-promotional, balanced, reliable and scientific information, follow strictly company standards and local regulations
  • Communicate both scientific and business needs credibly, appropriately and effectively across a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Provide therapeutic/functional training to assigned teams and affiliate functions
  • Develop and execute country medical education programs and symposia
  • Establishes and executes applicable PLPA (pre-license patient access) programs on SL request
  • Collaborate in the successful management of asset safety or quality issues
  • Provide prompt medical information support, such as research and answering of medical inquired from external and internal customers, and review/approval of local response documents

Qualifications

Education:

  • MD, PhD in a life science or Pharmacist degree is required; recognized expertise through 2-3 yrs

Skills Required:

  • Strategic thinking, specifically related to asset value proposition, and clinical and value evidence
  • Developing a network of scientific leaders and successful interactions with other key stakeholders (public groups, government officials, medical professional organizations) in therapy areas
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate information at country management level, with public groups and to scientific leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication (written as well as oral) and results oriented project management skills
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to understand how decisions fit into the broader context of corporate strategies
  • Strong, confident and engaging presentations skills In a matric environment, able to effectively collaborate across functions

The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 65.300,- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
