OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The HR & Office Manager plays a critical role in creating an environment and workplace that attracts, retains and rewards our talented and diverse team of people. A key member of the EMEA leadership team, you will be the main contact person for all EMEA managers and leaders in relation to People & Culture / HR topics and initiatives and will also be a strong partner to the Global People & Culture team - helping to bring global plans to life within the region

The role is based in our EMEA office in Mondsee, Austria.

Reporting to the VP / GM for EMEA, with a dotted reporting line into the VP - People & Culture you will lead HR locally as well as overseeing our external payroll accountant and Office Coordinator. This includes overseeing office activities and procedures to ensure organizational and operational efficiency and effectiveness for the office. The office coordinator is responsible for IT support, fleet management and facility.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly role model BOA's values
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Global People & Culture Operating plan, providing insights and recommendations from an EMA perspective
  • Partner with members of the EMEA Leadership and Management team with a focus on inclusion, retention, employee satisfaction and career development
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition / Recruitment and Onboarding processes for EMEA
  • In partnership with the Global P&C team, lead the development and implementation of employer branding practices within EMEA
  • Develop and implement People & Culture and EMEA office policies
  • In Partnership with the Organization Development Director, identify Learning & Development needs and coordinate local training
  • Benchmark and Coordinate Employee benefits and Salaries within the region, making recommendations in alignment with our Global Total rewards Program
  • Manage all aspects of local HR, ensuring data integrity, appropriate record keeping, and legal compliance
  • Preparatory payroll processing
  • Preparation and analysis of reports and insights to drive decision making

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 or more years work experience in a Generalist Human Resources role
  • Previous experience directly leading recruitment
  • Demonstrated experience operating autonomously and independently
  • Excellent multitasking and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people around the world
  • Dedication to serving both internal and external contacts
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • A passion for continuous learning and growth
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience managing people

For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement, which is 2367.- EUR gross per month. However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries and are therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary, depending on your experience and skills.
