S4E Unify Data Migration Lead for R&T Weiz (f/m/d) (252558BV)

The S4E Unify Project is Siemens Energy's approach to migrate from an SAP ECC environment to SAP S4/HANA and in parallel harmonize and simplify processes worldwide to reduce the number of different SAP ERP Systems for Siemens Energy to a globally harmonized template. Our Siemens Energy Renewables Transformer Factory in Weiz will be one of the first locations to take this challenge within the next year.

For our local project team we are looking for a Data Migration Lead (f/m/d) who will be reporting to the local Rollout Project Manager.

A Snapshot of Your Day

You are responsible for Master and Transaction Data Management and take care that the required data is available in the S4E system and data in legacy system is retired (closed, deleted, deactivated). Your responsibility is to make sure that all needed masterdata is in place and correctly mapped at day-one in the new system and we leave behind all unnecessary and unused data.

  • Data Migration concept together with IT
  • Start Data Cleaning together with Data Steward
  • Rollout Execution Phase
  • Data Cleaning together with Data Steward
  • Data Mapping rules
  • Support manual data migration were required
  • Validation of Data Migration test runs
  • Support during Hypercare Phase

What You Bring

  • Fluent in English and German
  • Know-how of SAP and/or S4Hana Data Models
  • Experience in SAP or other Data Base migration projects
  • Excellent communication skills to your project team and stakeholders
  • Passion for process design and improvement
  • Drive to achieve project goals and timelines

At Siemens Energy, we offer competitive compensation and benefits based on your performance, experience and qualifications. Due to Austrian legal requirements, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for higher remuneration taking into account your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, salaried employees is EUR 47.735,- gross/year for a full-time position (38.5 h/week).
