Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Support the system verification execution of the hardware and system products
  • Work with system verification engineers to develop verification plan based on requirement specification
  • Be part of the development of new test cases in Java/Python
  • Assist with the design of new verification boards
  • Execute targeted verifications and evaluate results
  • Contribute to the test bench specifications and implementation
  • Contribute to test automation methodologies and implementation

Further Information:
Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Profile

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical Engineering, Software/Computer Engineering, Physics or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

  • Strong interest in hardware and product verification as well as validation
  • Good analytical skills with problem-solving abilities
  • An open mindset with a focus on quality of results
  • Lab experience and soldering skills
  • PCB design and programming skills in Java and Python for verification purposes
  • Knowledge of NFC-Forum, ISO14443 and EMVCo specifications as a plus
  • Ability to communicate in English and/or German, as well as to work effectively within a team

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf).
