The IT Service Desk Agent plays a key role in keeping the organization running smoothly by ensuring technology works when it's needed most. Working closely with local teams and the wider IT organization, the role helps resolve issues efficiently, supports new technologies, and continuously improves how IT services are delivered. From day one, this role has an immediate impact by acting as the first point of contact for technical support and user experience.
Your tasks
- Act as the single point of contact for on-site and remote users, providing first-line technical support for IT issues and requests
- Record, categorize, prioritize, and manage incidents in the ITSM tool, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution
- Investigate and diagnose technical issues, applying effective solutions or escalating when necessary
- Collaborate with the Service Desk team and local IT colleagues to resolve complex incidents and support local infrastructure
- Support user onboarding and basic training for new hardware, software, or tools within the local office
- Contribute to the management and accuracy of IT equipment inventory
- Maintain awareness of physical IT security and report potential risks or incidents
- Deliver clear, professional, and customer-focused communication throughout the incident lifecycle
Your profile
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Service Desk, technical support, or similar customer-facing IT role
- Solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and common workplace technologies
- Hands-on experience supporting MS Windows environments
- Strong customer and service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Collaborative team mindset with proven ability to work effectively with others
- High willingness to learn and continuously develop technical knowledge
- Practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
