Clinical Product Manager (f/m/d)

Job Description Summary

As a Clinical Product Manager you will be part of an experienced clinical team at Voluson Valley. You act as the interface between engineering and clinical users: Define & evaluate the design, refinement of image quality and advanced feature development based upon customer's needs and translate/report evaluation feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Define & evaluate the design, refinement of image quality and advanced feature development to address customer needs - interface between engineering and clinical users
  • Translate and report customer evaluation feedback to engineering with clarity of actions to be derived for improving product
  • Communicate customer feedback to central and Product Marketing teams for pilots and NPIs, transfer (clinical) expertise into product roadmap definition
  • Develop (clinical) competition intelligence and comparisons to support engineering and the downstream teams with insights and potential selling advantages that can drive value for customers
  • Close collaboration with the Clinical Vertical Leaders, Clinical Product Management and Advanced Technology Group to support development, maintain, improve & implement working routines/standards for experimental procedures
  • Provide clinical leadership, problem solving ability, and service as a catalyst to drive new technologies into future innovative ideas to improve the product performance for Women's Health Ultrasound
  • Provide expertise in early Research & Development (R&D) projects
  • Help defining appropriate clinical sites for testing advanced applications and create or sustain reference sites
  • Support customer evaluations, local trainings and attend tradeshows

Qualifications and experience

  • Experienced Sonographer or equivalent experience in the application of medical diagnostic Ultrasound - preference in Women's Health Ultrasound
  • Biomedical Engineering or equivalent knowledge or significant industry or academic experience with industry collaborations in ultrasound imaging field
  • Experience in Ultrasound in Gynecology and Obstetrics, including 3D technology
  • Experience in Ultrasound and clinical understanding as well as knowledge in the application of medical diagnostic Ultrasound and on Ultrasound anatomy and pathology
  • Demonstrated global, cross-functional project management experience
  • Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written in English and preferably German
  • Demonstrated ability to convert high-level customer needs into a technical development strategy supported with data and clinical evidence
  • Ability to work in a highly independent manner as well as in team, able to contribute collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel for supporting customer evaluations, local trainings, attending sales meetings and tradeshows
