The Opportunity

Are you passionate about eCommerce and expanding premium brand reach across Europe? As the Senior eCommerce Marketplace Manager at woom, you will define and execute our marketplace strategy across key European markets. You will take total ownership of expanding our digital presence—driving the expansion of our brand portfolio (new bikes, used bikes, and accessories), defining country-specific marketplace roadmaps, managing cross-functional operations, and fostering a high-performance culture.
If you are a strategic, data-driven marketplace leader ready to help more children fall in love with cycling through scalable online channels, we want to hear from you.

Your Mission

  • Develop and execute the European marketplace strategy across defined priority markets (DACH & other EU markets).

  • Map, monitor, and prioritize the regional marketplace landscape; evaluate relevant local platforms (e.g., Amazon, Refurbed, etc.) and create a clear expansion roadmap for onboarding new marketplace partners.

  • Define tailored product portfolio strategies per country and channel across our three main segments: new bikes, used bikes, and accessories.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, trade terms, partner setups, and marketing initiatives to launch new marketplaces efficiently.

  • Partner regularly with Finance to build robust business cases, ensuring all marketplace operations meet net profitability and commercial targets.

  • Manage volume planning in Anaplan to align demand forecasts, balance inventory, and secure stock availability with global supply chain teams.

  • Drive technical scalability across European marketplaces using ChannelEngine—managing its day-to-day dashboard, optimizing existing integration workflows, and leading the onboarding of new marketplace channels through the platform.

  • Work closely with Operations and Logistics to streamline shipping workflows, fulfillment models, stock routing, and returns handling.

  • Directly manage and mentor a dedicated Marketplace Specialist / Coordinator while steering external agency partners managing Amazon operations.

  • Serve as the strategic hub between Sales, global eCommerce, IT, Logistics, Product Management, and Customer Experience (CX).

Who are you

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in eCommerce marketplace management, with a track record of building marketplace strategies and onboarding new channels across European markets.

  • Hands-on experience scaling marketplace connections via middleware tools. Direct experience with ChannelEngine is a strong advantage.

  • Deep understanding of managing premium brand positioning, selective distribution models, and structured portfolio segmentation.

  • Proven track record collaborating cross-functionally across Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, and IT to manage fulfillment and technical integrations.

  • Knowledge or exposure to broader B2B sales digitization (ERP integration, webshops, Click & Collect) is a plus.

  • Strong command of e-com KPIs and P&L management; experience using enterprise planning tools like Anaplan is highly desirable.

  • Experience leading direct reports and managing external agencies while successfully navigating cross-functional matrix environments.

  • Business fluency in both English and German is required.
