Your Responsibilities
- Deep-Dive Research: As part of our Legal team, you will be our go-to expert for complex legal research. You’ll analyze emerging (digital) laws and provide the team with the foundational insights needed to navigate operational risks.
- Draft & Refine: Support the creation and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts. You will help maintain and elevate our library of internal standards, policies, and legal templates.
- Master the Regulatory Landscape: Take a proactive role in analyzing new legal requirements. You’ll help translate these complex rules into clear, actionable compliance frameworks.
- Privacy Guard: Be a key contributor to our data protection management. You will tackle day-to-day privacy queries and support the organization in staying GDPR-compliant.
- Global Liaison: Act as a vital link between our internal teams and external international law firms, helping to coordinate legal strategies across different jurisdictions.
- Empower the Team: Develop and deliver targeted training sessions to sensitize our organization to the latest regulatory shifts and legal best practices.
Your Profile
- Proven Legal Foundation: You hold a degree in Law or Business Law (Rechtswissenschaften or Wirtschaftsrecht). You have already gained initial professional experience in a tech-driven legal department or a commercial law firm.
- Digital Expertise: You have a strong interest in the intersection of law and technology, specifically in IT/Software Law, Data Privacy, and emerging regulations.
- Analytical Excellence: You don’t just read the law; you deconstruct it. You have a talent for structured research and can explain complex legal-technical connections with precision.
- Collaborative Mindset: You enjoy working in a support-oriented role, providing high-quality input to senior stakeholders and management with a solution-focused attitude.
- Nice to Have: An interest in financial markets and/or digital assets is a plus.
Our Values
- Flexibility: Flexible working hours and hybrid work options enable you to maintain a work-life balance.
- Team Spirit: Our team thrives on mutual support and an open, respectful workplace atmosphere that values each individual’s contributions.
- Fun: From engaging team events to relaxed after-work gatherings, we ensure there’s always room for enjoyment alongside your professional journey.
- Accessible Location: Our office is centrally located in Graz, easily accessible by bike, car or public transport, making your daily commute convenient.
- Purpose: We are united by a shared passion for shaping the financial market. It’s a commitment you’ll experience every day.
