Your Role

We are evolving from traditional analytics to advanced AI engineering and are looking for a strong software engineer to help build and scale production-ready AI systems across the Group. Our AI platform is built around a central Knowledge Graph and already powers chat, voice, and smart routing capabilities across multiple European markets. You will play a key role in taking these systems from prototypes to scalable, user-facing applications.This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who enjoys working across the stack - from backend APIs and data pipelines to intuitive front-end interfaces.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and scale AI-backed applications using Python and FastAPI
• Optimize GraphRAG pipelines for high-quality retrieval and context generation
• Develop and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and graph-based systems
• Turn prototypes into robust, production-ready solutions
• Work on core AI infrastructure (routing, data quality, monitoring, deployment)
• Collaborate on chat, voice, and intelligent routing solutions

Your Profile

• Strong software engineering background with focus on backend development
• Excellent Python skills and experience with API development (e.g. FastAPI)
• Experience or strong interest in AI systems (RAG, LLMs, knowledge graphs)
• Familiarity with graph technologies (e.g. Neo4j, NetworkX) is a plus
• Basic frontend experience (React) or willingness to learn
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern development workflows
• Pragmatic, product-oriented mindset and willingness to work on end-to-end solutions
• Tech Stack (excerpt) - Python (FastAPI) on k8s, Azure OpenAI, Neo4j, React, Snowflake, Airflow, GitHub, Jenkins

For this position, the collective agreement stipulates a minimum annual gross salary of EUR 51.947,84 on a full-time basis. Depending on your experience and qualifications, we are willing to offer a higher salary.
