Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support Verification Methodology Development: Assist in developing,enhancing, and maintaining verification methodologies and frameworks
• Automation Development: Create and improve automation scripts for verification workflows and regression testing
• Testbench Development: Contribute to building and maintaining verification testbenches and infrastructure
• Documentation: Help document verification processes, methodologies,and best practices
• Tool Development: Support the development of internal verification tools and utilities
• Debugging Support: Assist in analyzing simulation results and identifying potential issues
• Methodology Research: Research and evaluate new verification techniques and industry best practices

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer science, Software Development or a related field
• Programming Skills:
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python scripting
• Experience with data structures, file I/O, and object-oriented programming+
• Basic understanding of Hardware Description Languages (Verilog/System Verilog)
• Familiarity with Python libraries for data analysis (pandas, numpy) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Testbench concepts is a plus
• Design Knowledge/Fundamentals:
• Understanding of basic digital logic circuits
• Knowledge of combinational and sequential logic
• Familiarity with common digital components (multiplexers, flip-flops, registers, etc.)
• Awareness of simulation and Verification/Testing principles
• Language Skill: Fluency in English

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
