As a Group Senior Expert in SCM, you will challenge the status quo, implement best practices, foster cross-functional collaboration, and leverage new technologies--all to maximize efficiency and achieve measurable impact.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

  • Serve as key user for Kinaxis planning systems across four main areas: plasma, production, packaging, and supply & replenishment planning within the Global Supply Chain
  • Orchestrate SC community meetings for your area of responsibility to facilitate exchange and learning, provide updates on initiatives, and drive discussions on improvements, harmonization, and innovation activities, considering current SC trends and benchmarks
  • Collaborate with team-sites/ cross functional to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Identify and implement initiatives as project manager, leading change with a clear focus on impact and efficiency
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs to monitor performance and process adherence within your area of responsibility
  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously exploring trends, inspiring with outside-in perspectives and implementing new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, including automation
  • Act as a change agent, driving teams and engaging wit teams/stakeholders to challenge the status quo, be creative, as well as embracing new ways of working

Your expertise and ideal skill set

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SC in a multinational environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Good understanding of E2E SC and expert knowledge in Planning
  • Demonstrated success leading projects, complemented by a project management certification (e.g., PMP)
  • High level of computer literacy in MS Office, particularly Excel and Power BI, as well as experience with SAP and Kinaxis
  • Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage
  • Design thinking, innovation methodologies, and change management expertise are a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, combined with excellent communication skills
  • Showcased ability to challenge existing processes and introduce innovative approaches
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

In Supply Chain, excellence in service is the result of well-established processes and standards, advanced planning, and the dedicated execution of a highly skilled team.

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4,270.14 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
