Export Control Coordinator (m/f/d)

LOCATION: Gunskirchen • START: IMMEDIATELY

Your new adventure

We are seeking a motivated Export Control Coordinator to support export control, compliance, and due diligence activities within our business. This position focuses primarily on China-related business activities (apr. 75%) and additionally supports EMEA export control operations, particularly in Finland.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in international trade compliance within a global and highly regulated industry.

• Support the company Export Control and Trade Compliance Program.
• Conduct export control reviews, sanctions screenings, and due diligence assessments.
• Assist with export license applications and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate compliance activities related to China business operations.
• Support export control processes across EMEA, with a particular focus on Finland.
• Maintain compliance documentation and records.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and relevant authorities in Austria and Finland.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support compliance training initiatives.

Your skills and experiences

• Bachelor degree in Business, Law, International Trade, Engineering, or a related fields are advantageous.
• Completion of advanced training in the field of export controls (e.g. distance learning course in export controls at the German Foreign Trade Academy)
• 0 to 3 years of experience in compliance, trade compliance, export control, legal, or a related area (recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality.
• Fluency in German and in English
• Finnish proficiency would be a strong advantage

You will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53,240.98 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
