Director Category and Product Management & Marketing Europe (m/f/d)
As Director Category and Product Management & Marketing Europe, you will lead our Category Management, Product Management and Marketing functions across Europe to drive profitable growth, strengthen our market position and deliver sustainable business results. Working closely with Sales, R&D, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance, you will translate market insights into winning category strategies, successful product launches and effective demand-generation activities. You will play a key role in shaping the future development of our categories, products and brands across the European market by aligning diverse country organizations and functional teams around common priorities and influencing key business and portfolio decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and inspire Category Managers, Product Managers and Marketing professionals
- Define and execute the European strategy for Category Management, Product Management and Marketing
- Establish clear objectives, KPIs and accountability across the organization
- Drive innovation, portfolio optimization, simplification and digitalization initiatives
- Ensure strong collaboration across Sales, R&D, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance
- Provide strategic direction for category growth, product portfolio management, innovation and commercialization
- Ensure effective marketing, brand development, customer engagement and lead generation activities
- Build a high-performing, customer-focused and accountable team focused on delivering business results
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in Category Management, Product Management and/or Marketing
- Experience within food ingredients, seasonings, food service, meat processing, plant-based foods or related segments
- Strong strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to identify and realize growth opportunities
- Proven track record in innovation management, product development and successful product launches
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build, develop and inspire high-performing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across countries, functions and leadership teams, balancing diverse priorities to drive effective business decisions. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate market insights into actions and measurable business results
- Customer-focused, pragmatic and hands-on, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
- High level of accountability, ownership and commitment to delivering results
- Experience leading change, driving innovation and supporting organizational transformation
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 5,509.06,- gross per month based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week). We offer a market-competitive salary package and a significant overpayment depending on your qualifications, experience and expertise.
