At Wolf Theiss, we are building our Data & AI capabilities across the full legal value chain. For this role, we are looking for someone who can help create a reliable data foundation and turn it into the basis for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.

The focus is on structuring, modelling, and making legal and business information usable in a way that supports better decisions, greater transparency, and scalable solutions. This is not just about storing data. It is about building the foundation that allows data, analytics, and AI to work together in a meaningful way.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will work closely with the CDTO, business functions, legal teams, and technology partners to make data a practical asset across Wolf Theiss.

How you'll contribute

  • Build and further develop modern data architectures and reporting foundations within the Microsoft ecosystem, in particular Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI
  • Model core legal and operational entities such as matters, clients, time tracking, billing, case workflows, and knowledge assets
  • Design and implement robust data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI applications
  • Develop KPI-based reporting structures for management, business functions, and practice groups
  • Translate business and legal requirements into scalable data structures, semantic models, and actionable reporting logic
  • Help ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the establishment of governance structures, data standards, and clear ownership models
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams across multiple CEE offices

What matters to us

  • Several years of experience in data warehousing, data platforms, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures, data modelling, and reporting logic
  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft stack, especially Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI
  • Ability to translate complex business and domain logic into clean and scalable data models
  • Experience in building reporting structures and defining meaningful KPIs
  • Good understanding of data governance, data quality, and structured data management
  • Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Experience in professional services or a regulated environment is an advantage
  • Fluency in English - German language skills are considered an asset
