Job Introduction

Our VCS3020X Voice Communication System is an established core product with a significant global installed base. Your mission is to drive sustainable profitability, ensure long-term technical viability through proactive security and obsolescence management, and lead the strategic planning for all lifecycle and transition phases.

Key Tasks

  • Lifecycle Strategy: Responsibility for the entire lifecycle strategy of the VCS3020X, including the transition roadmap
  • Installed Base Management: Ensuring and optimising profitability across the entire installed base
  • Technical Compliance & Obsolescence: Proactive management of HW-/SW-obsolescence, while ensuring compliance with current security requirements
  • Close collaboration: with Development, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure support scopes and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Performance Reporting: Monitoring strategic and financial KPIs to manage product performance and drive necessary actions
  • Product Business Case Ownership: Ensuring long-term profitability and managing the economic viability of the product portfolio
  • Stakeholder Management: Engaging in close, collaborative partnership with the Operational Product Manager (OPM) to effectively harmonise development efforts with market requirements, while serving as a trusted interface for Management and the Board

Key Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering or Business Administration with at least 10 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management
  • Understanding of embedded HW/SW architectures and complex product portfolios
  • Proven track record in the B2B/B2G environment and in managing technical products ("Installed Base Management") in the B2B sector and steering product lifecycles
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial planning and obsolescence management
  • Exceptional ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and harmonise complex stakeholder interests
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) is part of your professional routine, enabling you to engage directly with our international customers and global sites

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 70,000 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
