We are advertising the following position as an external lecturer at the Department of Creative Technologies on the MultiMediaTechnology degree programme for the winter semester 2025/26:
(up to 2 weekly semester hour / Type: Lecture with exercise)The course is offered in the 3rd semester of the MultiMediaTechnology Master's degree program and is an introduction to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for games with a strong practical focus.
The content includes topics such as: Theory of deep learning models; Standard neural networks (Feed-forward network, RNN,CNN); Modern neural networks (LSTM, GAN, Attention, Transformer); Application of neural networks with current frameworks on big data. Interpretability of machine learning models and specifically neural networks. Critical examination of topics related to deep learning: data protection, discrimination, etc
The language of instruction is English.
We are looking for applicants (m/f/x) with extensive practical experience in Nintendo Switch development. Formal requirements are a degree and teaching experience at a university. However, this can be compensated by relevant professional experience.
The employment will be in the form of a freelance contract (§ 4 Para. 2 ASVG).
External lecturers are employed under the following conditions:
1 semester hour = 13 teaching units of 45 minutes each
