Our client is a highly reputable and long-established family business with multiple locations and subsidiaries worldwide, supplying the global industry with high-quality components. Market changes require a realignment of production processes and a market-driven, future-oriented positioning of the existing product range to appeal to new customer segments and applications. This realignment entails an organizational and cultural development process. To significantly drive and support the transformation at the Slovenian production site, a top career opportunity is available for a change management-experienced individual with sound operational and management expertise as:
Your exciting management role in times of change:
As Operations Manager/Managing Director of the Slovenian subsidiary, you will be responsible for technical management of the site. You will report directly to the management of the Austrian Headquarters and, together with the commercial managing director, form the top local management duo. Your primary focus will be on the sustainable optimization of the entire value chain - from production planning, production, maintenance, and internal logistics to quality assurance. You will identify potential for increasing productivity, implement targeted cost optimization measures, and consistently drive the further integration of the site into the corporate group. Regular coordination meetings with the parent company and occasional international customer contact complete your range of responsibilities.
Your profile as a production-experienced People Manager
As a dedicated, ambitious, and engaging leader, you know how to inspire your employees. Your several years of management experience in production within a developed, performing industrial environment provide you with in-depth operational know-how (e.g., modern production methods, lean management, production and plant planning - industrial engineering). You understand how to analyze existing processes with your team, industrialize them effectively and efficiently, and - in this context - generate new standards through regular communication with the parent company. A solid technical education in manufacturing, production, logistics (SCM), metallurgy, or materials science, as well as fluency in Slovenian and English, complete your profile. Furthermore, you have a strong affinity for business contexts and pronounced implementation and decision-making skills. Your existing experience in change and transformation processes, both in-house or in external interim assignments, always within an industrial production environment, enables you to quickly grasp the situation and initiate initial action plans and measures with your team.
Your commitment will pay off
You will be expected to take on responsibility and productively challenge the parent company in the site's development. You will have the opportunity to leave your mark on a renowned company during a time of change. This highly interesting role offers attractive financial terms, with a gross annual salary of up to approximately EUR135,000 (depending on experience, and qualifications), as well as a company car for private use.
