The Position

Join Boehringer Ingelheim as a Business Process Manager (BPM) within the Quality Management (QM) organization, with a focus on Data & Analytics and Knowledge Management.
In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional product team responsible for shaping, implementing, and continuously improving data-driven and knowledge-centric solutions that support Quality Management processes across Quality Medicine.

As a BPM in our digital quality landscape, you will work closely with process owners, data and analytics experts, knowledge management stakeholders, and IT colleagues. Your mission is to ensure that quality-relevant data assets, analytics capabilities, and knowledge solutions are well-structured, governed, accessible, and valuable for global users.
You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making and effective knowledge reuse in a regulated (GxP) environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Act as the Business Process Manager within a dedicated Data & Knowledge product team in Quality Medicine, Serve as the key interface between business process owners, data & analytics teams, knowledge management stakeholders, and IT
  • Analyze and structure business requirements related to quality data, KPIs, reporting, and analytics use cases, supporting the definition of end-to-end data flows, from source systems to analytical and reporting layers.
  • Contribute to the design of quality dashboards, analytics products, and performance indicators that support operational and management decision-making, ensuring data solutions comply with GxP, data integrity, and internal
  • Collaborate on data governance topics, including data ownership, data quality rules, and metadata management.
  • Act as Business Process Manager for knowledge management processes, supporting the design and evolution of knowledge management solutions that enable efficient access, reuse, and contextualization of quality-relevant information. Translate business and user needs into functional requirements for knowledge platforms, search capabilities, and AI-supported knowledge retrieval.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in pharmaceutical Quality Management or a comparable regulated (GxP) context, with a solid understanding of data integrity and compliance expectations.
  • Hands-on experience translating business and process requirements into data models, KPIs, reports, or analytics use cases that support operational and management decision-making.
  • Familiarity with data ownership, data quality principles, metadata, and governance concepts to ensure reliable and sustainable use of quality-related data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to translate process requirements into structured, testable system specifications.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple parallel tasks, Excellent communication skills for interacting with global stakeholders.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 64.170 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
